Welcome to The Heritage at Bear Lake
Come join us in Paris… Idaho! Have your next event, vacation, family reunion, or youth conference in our historic buildings. Originally built in 1918, the Paris Lumber Company supplied lumber and supplies and the Granary (now Bear Lake Paris Inn) provided grain. Both buildings maintain a rustic feel and the nostalgia of a bygone era yet have been thoroughly updated and remodeled to provide all of the modern conveniences.
Our facilities are in Paris, Idaho surrounded by picturesque mountains and are located just minutes from beautiful Bear Lake, the Caribbean of the Rockies. You’ll find that Bear Lake Valley is a wonderful place to gather. The historic town of Paris includes the famous Paris Tabernacle, Paris Museum, Paris Canyon, and ice caves. Within a short stroll along Main Street, you’ll find an ice cream shop, an art gallery, parks, a donut shop, and historic buildings.
The Paris Lumber Company sleeps 39 adults and Bear Lake Paris Inn sleeps 44 adults. They can be rented together or separately. Together, they can accommodate 83 adult guests and 8 toddlers. When available, four private apartments can be rented to accommodate 19 additional adults, bringing the grand total to 102 adults. Each of the two main buildings has a large, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, as well as a spacious private grassy area with covered pavilions for outdoor meals and recreation.
Four apartments can be rented on their own or in addition to the main buildings. Each one includes a private bathroom with shower; three of the apartments include a kitchenette.
The Gathering Place is a standalone building adjacent to the Bear Lake Paris Inn available to rent separately for guests or groups interested in an event or meeting space. It has the capacity for 75 people. It is a great setting for group events, like movies, talent nights, firesides, and devotionals. It features high ceilings, comfortable seating, a high-quality 88-key electric piano, and historic items.
